Lumber Drying Kiln

Our Lumber Drying Kiln is engineered for batch drying and conditioning of various timber types, precisely reducing moisture content to prevent cracking and deformation in downstream processing or service. Available with electric or steam heating, it operates from ambient +10°C to 120°C, adapting flexibly to diverse lumber specifications and throughput requirements.

Our Lumber Drying Kiln features side-mounted duct heaters and forced circulation fans that drive airflow horizontally or vertically through lumber stacks. Chamber dimensions and heating power are customized per capacity needs, with rail-cart or forklift loading options; an integrated dehumidification system automatically adjusts moisture exhaust, while surface temperature rise remains ≤ ambient +15°C.

Lumber Drying Kiln employs a main PID controller paired with an independent monitor to regulate temperature, humidity, and airflow speed with high precision. The cycle runs through five programmable stages-preheating, heat-up, constant-temperature drying, conditioning, and cooling-each with dedicated setpoints; over-temperature triggers immediate heater cutoff and alarm via the independent monitor for fail-safe operation.

Our Lumber Drying Kiln achieves ±0.1°C control accuracy and ±1°C uniformity, with a no-load heat-up rate of 3–5°C/min. Heating options include SUS304 stainless steel finned tubes (electric) or steam exchangers, rated 15–150 kW; power supply supports 380–480V 3-phase 50/60Hz customization, with all critical parameters verified at factory to ensure reliable performance.
