1. Place the materials evenly in the oven that comes with the vacuum drying oven. Insert the drying tray into the drying rack cart and place it inside the drying oven.
2. If using steam or water heating, connect the two heating ports on the dedicated drying rack cart (on both sides) to the water or steam ports using quick connectors.
3. Close the oven lid and vent the air valve. The lid has anchor bolts that secure the lid to the rubber seal.
4. Connect the vacuum pump to the vacuum valve, open the valve, and vacuum seal.
5. Based on the vacuum pump's performance specifications, start with the pressure gauge reading at the specified value.
6. Once vacuum is achieved, close the vacuum valve and turn off the vacuum pump.
7. During the drying cycle of our materials, periodically check the pressure gauge, temperature gauge, and the oven itself for changes. If the pressure gauge reading decreases, there may be a steam leak and you can continue vacuuming.
8. After drying is complete, open the vent valve to release the steam inside, then open the drying door and remove the material.
