Vacuum drying ovens are widely used in the electronics and chemical industries, and are particularly suitable for quickly and efficiently drying heat-sensitive, easily decomposable, easily oxidizable materials, and items with complex compositions. The following are a few user experiences for your reference only.
1. Vacuum pumps cannot operate for extended periods of time. Therefore, when the vacuum level reaches the required drying pressure, first close the vacuum valve and then turn off the vacuum pump power. Once the vacuum level drops below the required level, reopen the vacuum valve and pump power and continue vacuuming. This will extend the life of the vacuum pump.
2. If the vacuum drying oven is not used for an extended period, clean exposed electroplated parts and apply a neutral grease to prevent corrosion. Cover the oven with a plastic film dust cover and place it in a dry room to prevent moisture from damaging the electrical components and affecting operation.
3. If the items being dried are damp, it is best to add a filter between the vacuum drying oven and the vacuum pump to prevent moisture from entering the vacuum pump and causing malfunction. 4. If the dried items become lighter or smaller (in the form of small particles) after drying, a barrier net should be added to the vacuum port in the workroom to prevent the dried items from being sucked in and damaging the vacuum pump (or solenoid valve).
5. If the vacuum drying oven fails to draw vacuum after repeated use, the sealing strip should be replaced. If a slow leak occurs when the drying temperature of the vacuum drying oven is above 200°C, remove the back cover of the oven and use an Allen wrench to loosen the heater base. Replace the sealing ring or tighten the heater base to resolve the issue.
6. If the rubber stopper of the air vent valve is difficult to rotate, apply a moderate amount of grease to the inside to lubricate it.
7. Except for maintenance, do not remove the left side cover to avoid damaging the electrical control system.
8. The vacuum drying oven should be kept clean at all times. Avoid using reactive chemical solutions on the door glass; wipe with a soft cotton cloth instead.
