Double cone vacuum dryer is a new type of dryer integrating mixing-drying. The condenser, vacuum pump and dryer are matched to form a vacuum drying device.
Product Features
The temperature of the liquid droplets in the drying process is relatively low, which is especially suitable for the drying of heat-sensitive materials, and can maintain the color, aroma and taste of the materials. In order to prevent the drying tower from sticking to the wall, this device is equipped with special structure, which can effectively prevent the product from sticking to the wall. The special finished product air conveying system separates the dried product from the hot and humid air in the system in time, which avoids the possibility of moisture absorption or caking of the dried product. The boiling point of the material solution under vacuum is lowered, so that the heat transfer driving force of the evaporator is increased, so the heat transfer area of the evaporator can be saved for a certain amount of heat transfer; the heat source of the evaporation operation can be used for low-pressure steam or boiling hot steam; the evaporator has less heat loss Sterilization can be carried out before the drying, and there is no impurity mixing during the drying process, which conforms to the requirements of GMP; the use of a condenser, the solvent in the material can be effectively recovered.
Working Principle
1. Structure and operation basis
Double-conical tank design:
The tank has conical ends, a sealed cavity inside, and a heating medium (steam, hot water or heat transfer oil) is passed through the interlayer.
The tank rotates at a low speed around the horizontal axis (usually 4-20 rpm), driving the material to continuously turn over, avoiding agglomeration and improving heat transfer efficiency.
Vacuum system:
The vacuum pump maintains a low pressure state (lower than atmospheric pressure) in the tank, lowers the boiling point of water, and allows the water to evaporate quickly at low temperatures.
2. Drying process mechanism
Heat transfer:
The interlayer heating medium indirectly conducts heat through the tank wall, and the material does not directly contact the heat source, which meets the cleanliness requirements of the pharmaceutical, food and other industries.
Dynamic drying:
The material is constantly turned up and down, inside and outside during the rotation process, forming uniform heating, reducing the thickness of the heat transfer boundary layer, and the efficiency is more than 2 times higher than static drying.
Water evaporation and discharge:
Under vacuum environment, the water on the surface and inside of the material vaporizes quickly, and the steam is extracted through the vacuum exhaust pipe. Some systems are equipped with condensers to recover solvents.
